Holy crap. That is scary. What an amazing cast though, but why?
  • BrooklynBorn · 7 months ago
Am I missing the punchline? I saw this on YouTune a while ago. The film had come out a number of years ago. Apparently, for some odd reason never made it. At lease, from what I can tell. Love Oldman and would have definitely went to see it.

I've seen it. It's as hilariously horrible as you would expect. I heard about it many years ago when Harry Knowles showed it at Butt Numb A Thon. It's on Amazon if you're curious.

HOLY SHIT HOW DID THEY TURN GARY OLDMAN INTO A MIDGET?
damn, hollywood had some good technology back then. also, is there any dwarf on dwarf action?
  • ...love Maegan · 7 months ago
TIPTOES!??!?! ...this HAS to be a joke.
  • Nadeem · 7 months ago
Holy crap, I thought it was a joke....and kept asking myself "Is that Kate Beckinsale"? And.......well.......I MUST see it
  • Jordan · 7 months ago
Oh. Okay. Its... unique? But also physically impossible, since dwarfism is usually autosomal recessive, and both parents are dwarves therefore making it impossible for either of them to carry the dominant trait. Good effort though.
  • Mike · 7 months ago
Holy shiat, this was directed by the same guy who directed "Freeway". This has to be redeeming in some way!
  • Chi · 7 months ago
No, you got it wrong, Jordan. You must not have seen the Roloff (Google) family? They have 3 "normal" sized kids and 1 dwarf son. Both parents are little people by the way. Dwarfism isn't as easy as Punnett Squares but I see what you TRIED to do there. Good effort though. Better luck next time, buddy.

    Nah:

    Tip Toes: Standing tall

  • Bill · 7 months ago
what the fuck.....weirdest shit this side of Crank 2....Gary Oldman what were you thinking?? Peter Drinklage can be forgiven because he's actually a dwarf but Gary??

Also, what is the deal with Kate's tat? And Matthew McConaghey keeps his shirt on. Even stranger than the dwarfs.

When the going gets rough, its only the size of your heart that counts. Who's doing this voiceover? My 10th grade history teacher?

    Dear AA:
I would like to thank you for bringing this PSA to my attention. I did not realize Gary Oldman was technically considered a "tiny person", but I know Hollywood is prone to hire those of shorter stature. I have heard on Access Hollywood that Tom Cruise is only 3'7'' tall in his stocking feet, and even shorter in Katie Holmes stocking feet. I would be guessing at your height, but would assume that you fall under at least the 'Not Tall Enough to Ride This Ride' standard at most quality amusement parks. Thank you for the blog(?) posting, and keep up the good work.
    Thank You
    A Fan

This movie was made in 2003, wasn't it? Here is the IMDB reference:

That was so painful I think my soul hurts. Every time Hollywood puts out a crap straight-to-DVD movie like this, THAT guy does the voiceover. Why is that?

And seriously, "Gary Oldman in the role of a lifetime"??? I certainly hope not. HE seriously hopes not. Now I'm on a mission to find more trailers with that voiceover guy.

they've got all the best dwarf actors too. Peter Dinklange who guested on 30 Rock this season, Debbie Lee Carrington the girl that Mickie wanted to date on seinfeld, but then she dumped him because he was wearing lifts. WE NEED MORE MOVIES LIKE THIS. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

Wow Matthew McConaughey plays a Jewish guy! I was not expecting that.
  • Yatin Mondkar · 7 months ago
Yes, god yes. Finally, a film that speaks to little people; a much undeserved community.
  • Bamber · 7 months ago
Yeah, I had the misfortune of actually seeing this whole movie. Sometimes you just can't stop watching the train as it slowly moves down the tracks directly into another train causing yes .... complete train wreck.
  • thomas Callihan · 7 months ago
Is this a fucking joke? This seems like a SNL skit or some shit. Hollywood has sunken to a new low.

I love Gary Oldman, what is doing? It seems like a mock of My Left Foot.
  • seriiouslywtf · 7 months ago
I can't even believe this is a real movie. I wonder what made Kate Beckinsale, Matt M. and Gary Oldman think that this was going to be good. Thanks for sharing, that was hilarious.
